Happy 15th Birthday, 50 Best!

The world’s leading manufacturer of premium domestic appliances and the leading voice for fine dining culture join forces on June 27th, 2017 for an extraordinary day of gastronomic experience: To mark its 15th anniversary, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, in partnership with Miele, invite five chefs whose restaurants have been named No.1 over its 15-year history – Ferran Adrià, René Redzepi, Joan Roca, Massimo Bottura and Daniel Humm. Each will outline their personal vision for the future of gastronomy. William Drew, Group Editor of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, said: “The 15th Anniversary event is being held to celebrate the impact that The World’s 50 Best Restaurants – and in particular the chefs and restaurateurs involved – have had on global gastronomy.” Hosting the event at the W Barcelona Hotel in Spain will provide a taste of what is to come on the next stop on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ global tour, with the 2018 awards event being hosted in Bilbao. “Our common goal is the passion for excellent food and the ambition to share culinary expertise with food lovers worldwide”, explains Dr. Axel Kniehl, Executive Director Marketing and Sales at Miele, “Therefore it is a pleasure for us to partner with The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.”
